| Four Questions |
[08 Sep 2006|12:44pm] |
This game should be simple. No matter how silly, personal or philosophical, this is the time to ask me any four questions. I will answer them all honestly and hopefully not go off on a tangent. When Ive answered them, as the game goes, you have to post this message in your own journal. [If you havent done so already, because from the looks of things juuuuuuuust about everybody has.]
Peace out.

| 142 - Monogamy |
[03 Sep 2006|03:24am] |
Monogamy – power of two = the most beautiful yet dangerous word lovers could ever find themselves fighting for.
Many may not agree, and that is for them to decide, to create their own fate and earn through experience what makes love so vulnerably unique.
For Love is like a seed, planted deep in the hearts of mortals and immortals alike. Only mutually can we bare flowers, unleashing all the breathtaking beauty that is everlasting in faith. It broadens and narrows our horizons, as the power of two.
A power that means you no longer have to explain your upsetting day to an empty chair, or worry about being alone on those long and scary nights with nothing but your own loin cloth to kiss you goodnight.
But what becomes of those who need more? Tides of need stir their desires and what is lost, no change-of-heart restores. The nature of the flower changes, no longer exotically pure, just another weed in a vast sea of wild flowers.
Hauntingly distant as my husband may be, I know that I was given his heart, even in such a dire circumstance where I had to learn what that meant the hard way. For that I am proud. For that, I would surrender myself whole heartedly to what mortals have coined ‘monogamy’.
